Rainbow Gnomes
A memory matching card game against an AI opponent. Flip cards, match garden gnome pairs, and collect the full rainbow across seven waves.
Rainbow Gnomes is a single-player-versus-AI memory matching card game built in Godot 4. You flip cards to find matching pairs of garden items and collect a set of colored gnomes across seven waves, one color per wave from red through violet. Whoever has the most points at the end wins, unless someone collects the full set in every wave, which is an instant rainbow win.
Status
In progress. This one started because my wife asked for it, and we are building it together. A playable build is up on itch.io, locked while she play-tests it. Devlog entries will land here as the game comes together, covering the design decisions and the things that turned out harder than expected.
